Nikola Zalewski has asked Roma to return to the squad.
According to today’s edition MessengerThe Polish winger is ready to take legal action if Roma fail to bring him back by tomorrow.
The paper reported that Zalewski’s lawyers had highlighted “clearly punitive” clauses in their request for reinstatement from the capital club for not renewing his contract, which expires in June 2025.
Roma have until tomorrow to get him back in the first team or Zalevsky’s legal team could file a lawsuit against the club asking for a “forced return” on the grounds of possible violations of workers’ rights.
Friedkins is expected to return to Trigoria on Monday to discuss the matter with the club’s top brass after speaking to them about Zalevsky’s situation.
