YouTuber and investigator Coffeezilla followed up on the first attack targeting the company responsible for the Rabbit R1 artificial intelligence (AI) device.
Online personality Stephen Findeisen, real name Stephen Findeisen, who frequently investigates various influencer scams, expressed outrage at Rabbit Incorporation for what he described as a product “built on fraud.”
In response, the company ignored Coffeezilla’s findings, but instead of allaying concerns or providing answers, these rebuttals only fueled further scrutiny and bad publicity.
In Part 2 of the investigation, Coffeezilla began an 18-minute YouTube broadcast with the following introduction:
“This tech company made me so angry about their previous scam that I decided to look into their current project, Rabbit (R1), and what I discovered was shocking.”
In particular, he wanted to analyze what exactly the AI model within the Rabbit R1 device was, as claimed by the company. It was claimed that the AI built into a device called Lamb could become a living assistant, with the official promotion saying “SStart my morning routine, call an Uber and find my car This is a great podcast to pass the time. Oh, and please tell everyone that I might be late.”
You can also check your fridge and reorder ingredients from your last meal. The presentation seemed impressive, as the marketing tool garnered over $20 million in pre-orders.
But ‘the lamb as advertised does not exist’
Coffeezilla went on to criticize Rabbit Incorporation not for whether it was pushing a good or bad product, but for Lamb’s AI credentials.
“all What was revealed as a result of the group investigation Rabbits don’t really use new things. There is no underlying AI model at all. Actually some hardcoded GPT and chatGPT It’s an interesting script because of Jesse (Lyu, founder of RabbitR1). Rabbit is said to be faster than chatGPT.”
He then said, “The hat is really annoying To me it’s not that it’s bad (Rabbit R1), it’s The key selling point of this product is It is built on lies, and the lies are the Lamb.”
“me Think of the best thing you can say This thing about Jessie and Rabbit They promised too much Underdelivery, the worst thing that can be said (In other words) this is consumer fraud.”
Coffeezilla highlighted the salvo by claiming to have spoken to an employee of Rabbit, who spoke on condition of anonymity:lamb “What was advertised does not exist.”
Investigators contacted the company for a final response, and comments included statements (shared in the video): “You are not interested in taking a balanced or objective approach or cooperating with us in good faith,” and “Rabbit is behind the product.” “I’m standing.”
