Chetry has played four T20Is throughout the year. Her debut was against South Africa last July. Earlier this month, she was the second highest scorer in the domestic T20 Challenger Trophy with 231 runs and a strike rate of 154.00. She also scored just 100 runs in the contest with 122 off 71 balls.
Chetry also has experience of touring Australia with the India A side in August, although her return was disappointing. In four matches across formats, she scored 7 and 11 in T20s, 16 in one-day matches and 2 and 47 in four-day matches.
Before joining the WBBL, Bhatia played a three-match ODI series at home against New Zealand, scoring 84 runs in three innings. She was part of the T20 World Cup squad but did not play the match.
The first two ODI matches against Australia are scheduled to be played at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane on December 5 and 8. The third and final match will be held at Perth’s WACA Ground on December 11.
