The Death Riders have been a powerful force since their creation a few months ago. This group eliminated anyone who stood in the way of Jon Moxley’s vision for AEW.
However, the group appears to have a weak link to Wheeler Utah. When Mox and his associates attacked Bryan Danielson, Yuta was not involved in the decision and was shocked. This shows that they are likely to view him as inferior to the rest. The 28-year-old was not an original member of the Death Riders and only joined after Mox defeated Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship.
Looking back on his days at Blackpool Combat Club, Yuta always seemed to be the weakest member of the group. They always treated him like an errand boy. This week on Dynamite, The Decoder was a perfect example as he was pinned in a Death Riders trios match against Rated FTR.
A person who spreads violence may begin to see him as a liability. If Moxley wants to achieve his vision, he’ll have to get rid of what’s holding him back, and that could mean Wheeler Yuta. He might ask Claudio Castagnoli and PAC to go on a mission to attack Yuta and kick him out of the group, similar to what they did with Bryan Danielson. This would be the best way for the group to maintain dominance and send the message that not one member of their group will be tolerated when it comes to the overall goals of Jon Moxley and his Death Riders.
Konnan is no longer a fan of Jon Moxley.
Jon Moxley and the Death Riders have accomplished some controversial things in a short amount of time. Mox is responsible for booking storylines and while they try to be seen as a dominant force, the group has recently come under scrutiny from fans and legends for poor bookings.
talking about him Keepin’ It 100 Formula Konnan recalled on the podcast the first time he heard about Jon Moxley from a WWE trainer. He admitted he was impressed after seeing one of the promos on Indy. However, according to the current booking, Konnan has stated that he is no longer a fan of Mox.
“I remember Norman Smiley, who works in training guides for the WWE, and I remember him saying there’s this guy here…what was his name before Moxley…Dean Ambrose. He had a kid there named Dean Ambrose. He’s very different, so watch out for him. He’s going to be a star one day. So I went and found him and I was like, ‘Wow.’ ‘I like people’ so I’m also Dean Ambrose “I was a huge fan of Moxley,” he said. (2:15 – 2:55)

Jon Moxley won’t be happy after the Death Riders’ recent loss to Rated R Superstar and FTR. It will be interesting to see what effect this will have on Wheeler Utah.
