Bravo viewers, please take your seats.
Jarrett “JT” Thomas has an announcement to make.
Before Southern Charm begins season 10 on December 5, the star released a statement confirming that she will not be participating in the upcoming episodes.
“News has broken that I have resigned from Southern Charm,” JT wrote on Instagram late Friday, November 8.
“Yesterday I informed Bravo that I would not be participating in the remaining 2-3 green room interviews before szn airs on 12/5 (I have done about 9 as of today) and that I did not want to participate in any more. “Go ahead and do the TV show one way or another.”
Shocking, isn’t it?!?
To be clear and specific, the latest season wrapped principal photography earlier this year. But the cast is still filming confessionals looking back on what happened.
The reality star, who joined the show as a regular last year, hinted in her message that she was simply exhausted after filming.
He did not provide further details.
“I’ll leave it at that,” JT wrote.
“As we take the next steps in recovering both physically and mentally from what has been a very difficult and exhausting year.”
Southern Charm’s press release for Season 10 heralds a “new era” as the major players celebrate “10 years of sweet tea and spilling on the Charleston social scene.”
“The Charmers find themselves at the crossroads of familiar feuds and redefined boundaries,” the press release reads.
“This group, one of the loudest in Charleston, seemed committed to business, family and health, but growing pains were inevitable as cracks in their newfound life plans quickly surfaced.”
In a preview released a few days ago, JT is seen flirting with fellow cast member Venita Aspen, and appears to have been accused by Craig Conover of calling the show’s hostess Patricia Altschul a “b-tch.”
This flirtation with Venita in the Season 10 teaser comes a week before the Bravo personality debuted his new girlfriend, Ali Pereless, on social media.
He posted an image of himself being loved in a montage post on November 3, adding a hashtag and captioning it, “It’s been a while.” #complicated.
