Call of Duty: Warzone players are screaming for the return of their first love, Verdansk. The iconic battle royale map has created friendships, laughter, and powerful victories during difficult times for the world. Verdansk is returning to Warzone, and the release window is interesting.
“Verdansk” is a word that excites many people. CoD wisely primed this feeling years ago with Warzone. Activision had no right to release such an attractive free-to-play battle royale game. That smart tactical gameplay is overshadowed by frantic gunplay as you desperately seek cover beneath the stadium’s sun-blocking shelter.
Verdansk has been a source of comfort for frustrated players left emotionally by the world’s hardships in 2020 and beyond. It’s time for the fictional city to return to Call of Duty, because Warzone is never the same.

Before you ask, there are no leaks or general indications as to when 2025 will be. It could be midway through Black Ops 6’s lifecycle, or Activision could choose to wait until the release of Call of Duty 2025 for a co-integration.
We’ll update this when we have an exact release date for the Verdansk reintroduction.
