There’s a new way to miss your flight. Waymo passengers say they will continue to drive in circles to the airport in driverless driving. And he chronicled his travel nightmares. in the video.
The following man appears in the video: mike jones I’m sitting in the backseat of a Waymo car, circling the parking lot.
Mike called Waymo customer service to report the problem and told them he was at risk of missing his flight. However, the person in charge is unable to stop the car and Mike continues to drive in circles.
It’s funny… Mike wonders if he’s joking and says he feels like he’s in a sci-fi thriller.
In the end, Mike said he rode the Waymo for eight laps and ended up missing his flight.
Mike claims he has yet to receive compensation for missing his flight, and blames Waymo for lack of empathy and disregard for its customer service department, which is fully automated and runs on artificial intelligence.
It sounds like that experience soured Waymo for Mike. He said the next time he needs a car, he’ll keep it old school and take Lyft or Uber.
Waymo, operated by Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc., is still new to the taxi industry and it’s clear there are still issues to be worked out.
