VGC recently visited the Game On exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland to look back on 50 years of video games.
As part of the exhibition, the team created an exhibition celebrating Scotland’s most famous gaming studio, Rockstar North.
Featuring items loaned to the museum by Rockstar, this exhibition is only available in Scotland, meaning there are limited opportunities to see rare GTA and Red Dead memorabilia.
The exhibition includes a section dedicated to Red Dead Redemption 2, featuring brand-new, never-before-seen concept art donated to the exhibition by Rockstar.
The exhibit also features Grand Theft Auto memorabilia spanning the history of the franchise.
“Scotland has played a key role in the evolution of video games as a medium,” said Jennifer Kolbe, Publishing Director at Rockstar Games.
“We are delighted to be able to help the National Museums of Scotland reveal more about the country’s contribution to this thriving aspect of modern culture.”
The Game On exhibition, which runs from June 29 to November 3 at the National Museum of Scotland, showcases over 100 playable games spanning the last 50 years of video games.
