Vice President Harris is scheduled to deliver closing remarks to voters in the swing state of North Carolina on Saturday afternoon, just hours after early voting ended in the state.
Harris will be joined on the battlefield by other guests including musical artists Bon Jovi and Khalid and “Scandal” actress Kerry Washington. She has relied heavily on celebrity endorsements, including recent rallies with Cardi B and Jennifer Lopez.
With 16 Electoral College votes cast and Election Day just days away, both the Vice President and former President Trump spent significant time in North Carolina. Trump is holding two campaign events in the state on Saturday.
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ Poll Index shows the race remains tight among Tar Heel State voters. The former president received 49.1% support, compared to Harris’ 47.7%.
The rally in Charlotte, North Carolina is scheduled to begin at 5 PM EDT.
