Adam Ashley-Cooper, Drew Mitchell and Matt Giteau have spoken out about the altercation with local teenagers following last week’s clash between Australia and Wales in Cardiff.
speaking about For the love of rugby A podcast with veteran England scrum-half Ben Youngs detailed the incident that occurred at Nando’s restaurant last Saturday night.
“We had just watched England v South Africa and then went to see Cheeky Nando’s before the next game.” Mitchell started. “The place was packed, and this guy came up and yelled, ‘Where’s the fucking medium sauce?’
“I told him there was a line, but he was just aggressive. Next time, his colleague watches me from the side.”

Ashley-Cooper added: “I asked him, ‘How old are you?’” He leaned over and said, ‘I’m 16!’ The security guards stepped in and chased them away, but Drew was worried, ‘Make sure they’re not waiting to shank us,’ he said.
Giteau said: “I was like, ‘Drew, I don’t need this.’ “Imagine if the newspaper said, ‘Mitchell fights a 16-year-old boy!’”
The trio is now kickoff and kickon On the podcast, we burst into laughter at the strange encounter. “I’ve never fought or thrown a punch,” Mitchell admitted, while Giteau quipped, “I still haven’t done one!”
