Square Enis has announced that Visions of Mana will be released on August 29th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This is brought to life with the new Visions of Mana trailer, which runs for almost four minutes and offers plenty of gameplay and details about the upcoming RPG.
For the uninitiated, Visions of Mana is the first new mainline game in the franchise in 15 years. Although there have been 17 games over its 30-year existence as a franchise, the current Mana series actually began in 1991 with Final Fantasy Adventure.
The trailer gives us a look at five playable characters, including Soul Guard Val (voiced by Stephen Fu), Oracle of the Wind Careena (voiced by Rachel Rial), Radiant Sword Morley (voiced by Kaiji Tang), and Queen of the Wind Careena (voiced by Rachel Rial). Deep Palamena (voiced by Vanessa Lemonides) and Woodland Custodian Julei (voiced by Amber Aviles). Players can swap between these characters to create a party of three, and can change each character’s class to suit different elements. But according to the trailer, they won’t be alone, as non-player companions will be able to aid the player’s party in battle.
