New gameplay and details for Marvel Rivals were shared during Sony’s PlayStation State of Play. For beginners. Marvel Rivals is a superhero (specifically Marvel superheroes) team-based PVP shooter inspired by games like Overwatch. The video below shows Venom and Adam Warlock appearing in the game. The video also shows a map of a new location, Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands.
Along with the new gameplay details, it has been confirmed that the game will also be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, along with the previously confirmed PC platform. Developer NetEase is also planning a closed beta for the game in July. PlayStation beta testers will have exclusive access to Spider-Man’s Scarlet Spider cosmetic skin.
