Tashkent, Uzbekistan, August 18. According to Trend Report, the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan Business Forum was held in Kabul on August 17, coinciding with the visit of an Uzbek delegation to Afghanistan.
According to information, the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Rajiz Kudratov, took part in the event. The forum was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments, heads of industry associations, and more than 500 representatives of business from both countries.
The forum reportedly discussed promising areas for developing cooperation, including expanding the scope of mutually traded goods, strengthening relations between producers and exporters, deepening business relations, and increasing the number of joint business events and visits.
The forum included the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition, which aims to increase the volume of bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to $1 billion. The exhibition featured products from 80 leading Uzbek enterprises operating in the automotive, textile, jewelry, food, electrical, mining and pharmaceutical industries.
