The second half felt like a different game. Less than a minute after the restart Leinster had their fourth try of the contest.
Robbie Henshaw and Jimmy O’Brien connected well on a passage that South African lock Jason Jenkins went over and that effort was to mark the opening of the floodgates.
Henshaw was involved again in the middle for the fifth attempt with a Leinster carry-and-pass that briefly sent Larmour into the corner after Dan Edwards fell forward as he attempted the kick.
As the strength of Leinster’s bench became apparent, Leo Cullen’s men added some gloss to the score with four tries in the final 11 minutes of the game.
Tommy O’Brien was one of the home side’s impressive substitutes and it was his striker who gave Jamie Osborne the opportunity.
A well-executed move from the lineout created space for another substitute, Charlie Ngatai, to come into play, and Larmour completed his hat-trick with four minutes remaining.
Having created one point, Tommy O’Brien claimed a point of his own in the last minute to complete another big win for Leinster.
