President Donald Trump issued a statement Wednesday with a message to Russia.
Trump said in a statement that the situation “will only get worse” and threatened to impose tariffs, additional sanctions and taxes on Russia if Russian President Vladimir Putin does not end its war with Ukraine, adding that Putin will end “this outrageous war.” He said it had to end.
“I want no harm to Russia,” Trump said in a statement. “I love the Russian people and I have always had a very good relationship with President Putin. This is despite the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax of the radical left. “We must never forget that Russia helped us win World War II and lost nearly 60 million lives in the process.”
Trump called on Russia to end the war that began when Russian troops crossed the eastern border with Ukraine in February 2022. The bloody conflict lasted longer than many experts expected, and the United States provided Ukraine with more than $65 billion in aid.

The funding has become increasingly controversial, and continued funding for Ukraine is becoming increasingly unlikely as Republican opposition grows.
President Trump said, “I will do a great favor to Russia and President Putin, whose economy is failing.” “Now calm down and stop this foolish war! The situation will only get worse. If we don’t get a ‘deal’ soon, we will have no choice but to impose high levels of taxes, tariffs and sanctions on all products Russia sells to the US and many other participating countries. If I were president, let’s end this war that would never have started! We can do it the easy way or the hard way. The easy way is always better. Now it’s time to “close the deal.” No more lives should be lost!!!
