President-elect Donald Trump appeared in media Tuesday without ruling out the possibility of using military force to seize control of the Greenland-Panama Canal, complained about electric heaters that cause itching and continued to lie about the criminal case against him.
“No, I can’t guarantee either,” he said when asked about using troops in two territories, one controlled by Denmark and the other by Panama. “Maybe you should do something.”
“We need Greenland for national security purposes,” he said, adding that it has only 45,000 residents. “People don’t even know if there is a legal right to this in Denmark. But if we do that, we have to give it up because it is necessary for national security.”
