A new survey conducted by Quinnipiac University found former President Trump ahead of Vice President Harris by 1 percentage point in Pennsylvania.
Trump received 47% support from voters, compared to 46% for Harris, according to the poll. 2% said they support Jill Stein of the Green Party, and 1% said they support Chase Oliver of the Libertarian Party.
Pennsylvania is a critical swing state that either Harris or Trump will need to win to take the White House next week. Trump is just 0.6 points ahead of Harris in the Keystone State in the average poll from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ.
Trump held a rally stop in Allentown, Pa., on Tuesday evening, and Harris held a rally at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., the same night. The Vice President also visited the Keystone State over the weekend.
Other findings from the survey included the fact that voters were more likely to support incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) than his Republican rival, Dave McCormick. 50% of voters supported Casey, while McCormick received 47%.
Aside from the presidential race, the race between Casey and McCormick is notable because it could determine which party controls the Senate next year. Democrats hope to keep the Senate, while Republicans want to take it back.
The Quinnipiac poll was conducted Oct. 24-28 and counted 2,186 likely voters and had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.1 percentage points.
