washington — President-elect Donald Trump plans to hold a rally-style event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 19 ahead of his inauguration, according to multiple sources familiar with the plans.
Capital One Arena, home to the Washington Wizards basketball team and the Washington Capitals hockey team, can accommodate approximately 20,000 attendees. The “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” is scheduled to begin at 3 PM ET, according to the Trump-Vance Founding Committee’s registration link.
President Trump is scheduled to be inaugurated for his second term on January 20.
