Donald Trump’s former White House deputy press secretary was asked on Fox News on Monday about reports that the president-elect is growing tired of all the attention Elon Musk is drawing.
Mediaite previously reported, citing sources close to the Trump transition, that the president-elect is tired of the ubiquity of his billionaire allies. “Trump is 100% annoyed,” a Trump insider told the site. “There is a Chinese proverb that says, ‘Two tigers cannot live on one mountain.’”
Fox News correspondent Jonathan Hunt told Hogan Gidley, who is also the national press secretary for President Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign, that the president-elect is “a little annoyed” and “maybe a little tired” of the attention Musk is receiving through his campaign. I asked about reporting. Social Media Platform X.
“Oh, look. “It’s clear that Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy and others have a good relationship with Donald Trump,” Gidley backed off. “The media loves to create division and create division where there is no division.”
“Donald Trump gave Elon Musk a big task, which uncovered a lot of fraud, waste, and abuse in the federal government. “We think he can definitely achieve that,” he added.
He claimed, “Donald Trump is the leader here.” “He’s got the team to do it and they’re all his friends. They are all working together.”
Trump appointed Musk and Ramaswamy, a wealthy businessman and former main Republican rival, to lead a new unofficial government efficiency department that will cut public spending.
