President-elect Trump announced that Justin Caporale will join him as executive producer for major events and public appearances during his presidency.
“Justin Caporale has been with me from the beginning of this truly amazing journey, helping produce historic rallies and events including the Republican National Convention, Madison Square Garden, McDonald’s commercials, and even my viral ‘Garbage Truck Ride.’ . ” he wrote in a Truth social post Tuesday.
Caporale assisted the former president with a stunt in a garbage truck during an October campaign rally, when Biden appeared to call his supporters “trash” during a video call. The White House disputed the president’s interpretation of what he meant.
The photo soared in likes on X and other platforms, cementing Trump’s credibility among working-class voters. Now Caporale will spearhead future appearances and photo shoots during Trump’s second administration, hoping to achieve the same effect.
“Once Justin completes our outstanding inauguration presentation, he will continue to perform external duties as executive producer of major events and public appearances,” he added.
“Justin, congratulations. Keep up the great work!”
