Travis Hunter puts on a show in Central Florida as Colorado dominates UCF and takes over the Heisman conversation.
Saturdays during college football season are unpredictable, and no matter how good or bad your team is, you have to watch just in case. Yesterday in Central Florida, we saw Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes display their first true dominance.
Sheder Sanders and Travis Hunter have shined since Sanders became coach, but we have yet to see the team as a whole clicking at a high level.
Colorado won 48-21 and it was more of a coming out party and like I said, huge. Those who thought Colorado wouldn’t be a problem raised their eyebrows.
Travis Hunter was leading the way and, after a spectacular interception, made an unthinkable hit that put him in a Heisman pose in the end zone.
Travis Hunter is without a doubt the best player in college football and should make a run for a trophy regardless of where Colorado ranks. But in Tuscaloosa, 17-year-old true freshman Ryan Williams still performs every Saturday. Expect it to be a back-and-forth battle between the two, but Travis’ play on offense and defense has been fantastic.
