The PNC Championship has become a family tradition for Tiger and Charlie, who have competed together for many years. This tournament is a unique event where professional golfers and their loved ones bond and engage in friendly competition over a weekend.
This year’s event was even more special because Charlie achieved a major milestone: his first hole-in-one in the final round on Sunday.

Executed with a perfect 7-iron, the shot drew cheers and helped the father-son duo take second place.
Charlie expressed his excitement as he recalled that moment. “It was great to have my dad there,” he said, according to ABC News. “It was really fun. It was just a perfect 7-iron with a few scratches on it. Of course, I never saw that going in. So that sucks. But it’s okay.”

For Tiger, the experience was truly special. “Being able to have that moment with Charlie and get his first hole-in-one was the thrill of a lifetime,” Woods said. “This is what this event is about. It’s about bonding and family.”
Although the two did not win the championship, Tiger emphasized the importance of their joint effort. “We had to earn it, and that’s what you want to have,” he added.
Tiger has two children with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. The former couple, who married in 2004 and divorced in 2010, welcomed Sam in 2007 and Charlie in 2009. Over the years, the three people have developed a habit of creating special memories on and off the golf course.
