Denis Law played in Manchester City in the 1961 FA Cup, scoring six goals in Luton Town in 1961.
Unfortunately, in the case of the law, the game meant that his efforts were nothing before the end was over. Four days later, as Luton won 3-1 re-arranged fixtures, it worsened further!
LAW finished the campaign with 23 goals in 43 games and secured a move to Turin, Italy, with a £ 110,000 movement at the end of the season. This was a record of a British player at the time.
