The host city for the Women’s Rugby World Cup, which will host the 2025 tournament in England, has been confirmed.

In 2021, they faced the same opposition due to hosting in New Zealand. The final was a close match against England, who had a chance to win at the same time as dying. However, New Zealand disrupted play to retain their crown.
This time, England will be looking to win the trophy they won in 2014. But where will the match be held? Here’s everything you need to know.
Women’s Rugby World Cup host cities: Where will the matches be played?
During the group stage, all teams get the opportunity to travel around the country to watch matches.
Brighton & Hove Albion Stadium, Ashton Gate, Sandy Park, Salford Community Stadium, Franklins Gardens, Stadium of Light and York Community Stadium will all be used.
The quarter-finals will be jointly hosted by Ashton Gate and Sandy Park.
Both semi-finals will be held at Ashton Gate, with the final being held at Twickenham Stadium. The Rugby Football Union has made it clear that it intends to sell out England’s home ground for the match.
Twickenham has never sold out tickets for a women’s match before, but holds the world record for the largest attendance for a women’s rugby match. It was set in 2023 when England played a winner-take-all match against France in a Grand Slam match. 58,498 fans watched the Red Rose beat France that day.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for the Rugby World Cup will go on sale in September. Prices range from £5 to £95. 60% of all tickets are £25 or less.
