TORONTO – After a slow start, RJ Barrett finished with 19 points and Scottie Barnes had 17 more points and 11 rebounds to help the Toronto Raptors dispose of the Orlando Magic 109-93 on Tuesday.
The Raptors’ (11-32) offense rose to 40 points in the third quarter, earning their third win in four games. The Magic (23-22), who suffered from injuries, were eliminated for the fourth time in a row.
Gradey Dick scored 17 points on the strength of 10 third-quarter points at Scotiabank Arena.
Canadians Kelly Olynyk and Bruce Brown Jr. enjoyed strong games off the bench with 12 and 15 points, respectively.
Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 26 points and 12 rebounds, followed by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with 20 points and Anthony Black with 17 points.

The Raptors overcame a dismal start to fall behind 10-0 before the game was even three minutes old. But the home team continued to fall apart.
Barrett’s first field goal of the game, a 3-point jumper with 7:58 left in the first half, brought the Raptors within 39-37. But Orlando led 50-45 at halftime, and the Raptors led 85-70 after three quarters.
