ford motor The Lincoln Navigator has been updated with a 48-inch front display, making it a ‘sanctuary’ for spa enthusiasts and gamers alike.
The new features come as the automaker redesigns the vehicle’s exterior and interior for the 2025 model year, and as Ford’s luxury brand attempts to differentiate the Navigator amid declining sales of large SUVs.
“The all-new Navigator is more than just a vehicle,” Lincoln president Diane Craig said in a press release. “It can be a home away from home and a third space that energizes customers in entirely new ways, both on and off the road.”
The “Sanctuary” mode is part of the “Lincoln Rejuvenate” feature, which is designed to create a calming environment for the driver. When activated while parked, the driver’s seat automatically slides back, tilts, warms slightly, and performs a massaging motion.

This mode changes the climate in the car every 5 or 10 minutes, releases a refreshing scent, and plays relaxing images and sounds like a waterfall. You can choose between scents such as Mystic Forest, Ozonic Azure, and Violet Cashmere.
The vehicle comes preloaded with a “Waterfall Meditation” experience in partnership with meditation and sleep app company Calm, and two other themes, “Aurora Borealis” and “Elements,” are also included with purchase.
“Navigator is the flagship of the Lincoln brand and represents the ultimate haven,” Craig said.
The large horizontal screen and Rejuvenate Mode were first introduced in the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, but the Navigator’s larger interior space allows for further refinements.

If the driver prefers to watch media to relax instead of enjoying the spa experience, the front display can be split to play video and game apps while the vehicle is parked. Current games available include Asphalt Nitro 2, Angry Birds, and Beach Buggy Racing 2.
The eight-passenger SUV continues to be powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. It also comes standard with the BlueCruise advanced driver assistance system, which allows hands-free driving on the highway.
Ford says the 2025 Navigator will start at just under $100,000, but more specific pricing will be revealed closer to the vehicle’s on-sale date in spring 2025. The current model starts at $83,000 and goes up to $114,000.
According to Lincoln, the current average transaction price for a Navigator is over $101,300.
Lincoln sales were up 23.4 percent year over year through July, but Navigator sales were down about 21 percent during the same period.
The redesigned Navigator was unveiled at Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance auto show in California.
