The Dallas Cowboys should be glad the season is over. But there was one more embarrassing moment their team had to endure. Because their kicker smashed the ball and hit one of the cheerleaders in the head.
During the 2nd quarter kickoff, Brandon Aubrey — Dallas’ usually sure-footed kicker — kicked the ball out of bounds. It was already a penalty kick, which was bad enough.
But the situation got more serious. Because the ball went out of bounds and landed on the back of the cheerleader’s head. She was knocked to the ground by the incredible force of the ball, and people rushed to check on her.
The video speed was also slowed down due to the broadcast. And it appears that the cameraman on the sideline actually touched the ball. It’s unclear whether he accidentally turned the ball toward the cheerleader’s head or hit her.
Fortunately, she seems to have recovered well from the blow… smiling, laughing, and waving to the help of those around her.
It’s another miss of the season for the Cowboys, who finished the season 7-10 after losing today’s game 23-19 to the Washington Commanders.

Well, at least this season is in the background… but one cheerleader might be feeling a little upset starting tomorrow!
