The best PlayStation games of all time have been chosen, and the winner is… – W.G.B.

PlayStation Access, a YouTube channel owned by Sony, released a list titled ‘Top 30 PlayStation Games of All Time’ to commemorate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation. Of course, there can’t be different opinions or debates, right?

Naturally, this channel is entirely focused on the PlayStation brand and is essentially a giant marketing blurb. If you understand that, it’s a fun channel to watch.

In this case, the game appears to have been voted on by PlayStation fans around the world. Exact numbers are not provided, so there may have been one person in his bedroom, or there may have been millions. But given the 2.12 million subscribers, we’re guessing at least a few gamers voted.

So what game holds the coveted title of best PlayStation game of all time? Of course it was Concorde.

Okay, that’s obviously not true. The actual winner is much less surprising. This is The Last of Us. Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic tale of love, violence, family, and other violence took first place. Maybe it wasn’t my choice, but I totally understand that it’s a winner.

The rest of the list includes most of the games you’d expect, but it’s also missing some PlayStation icons that surprised me. Is there no Tomb Raider? No Spyro? Is there no Crash Bandicoot? I say madness.

But congratulations to Final Fantasy for making an impressive fifth of the list in its own right.
