I normally don’t use TextEdit’s rich text editor and just switch straight to plain text mode, but I was interested in learning. I just messed around trying to get the hang of it all, everything was very simple and didn’t take long to get used to. But the ruler was still lost after I touched it. I know it has something to do with paragraph positioning. I’ve seen character spacing messed up at different places in each line of text, including at the beginning of a paragraph. However, I have been able to do this inconsistently. Most of the time nothing happens. What about the ruler?
