According to data, production decreased by 16% compared to the same period last year.
The report also indicates that 1.5 million tonnes of hard coal and lignite were produced in the country during the mentioned period. This is a 28.4% increase from January to August 2023.
From January to September 2024, Tajikistan’s industrial enterprises produced goods worth 36.3 billion somoni ($3.4 billion), a 15.3% increase over the same period last year, according to the latest data from the National Statistical Office of Tajikistan.
Sectors with the highest production growth rates include mining (35.9%), manufacturing (10%), electricity, gas, steam, and air purification (0.6%), and water and sewerage and waste. Secondary materials processing sector – 1.7 times.
