Steve Diamond has committed to Newcastle for the long term as long as the new owners want him when Semore Kurdi sells his stake in the Falcons.
Diamond joined Newcastle as consultant director of rugby following the departure of manager Alex Codling earlier this year and has helped turn a club that had forgotten how to win into a club with promise.
Kurdi is looking to resign after investing more than £20m in Newcastle over 13 years and Diamond said he was ready to broker a deal with new investors.
