Reviews and miniviews
SteamWorld Heist II ($29.99)
I’m in a strange area Steam World I think it’s a series. I missed the DSi at first tower defense When I restarted the game, I found it too intense to enjoy. i loved SteamWorld Diggingand the original Steam World Heist It was right up my alley. Steam World Digg 2 In many ways, it’s a huge improvement over the first game, but somehow I found it a little less heartwarming. Steam World Quest It was interesting, but it didn’t sit well with me. and Steam World Build It was a decent game, but the Switch just couldn’t run it the way it needed to. I think these games are all of good quality, and a lot of effort and effort went into their design. But I will admit that the light is gone Steam World For me, to a certain extent.
So here we are together Steamworld Heist II, This is the second time the developer has revisited a concept within the series. Steam World Digg 2 We took a relatively simple game and created something much bigger. Steam World Heist It’s already big enough. So instead of reinventing the wheel, what Thunderful has done here is give us a new adventure with slightly refined mechanics and a few new twists. Ocean exploration is the biggest new feature, and it’s okay. If nothing else, it’s a nice break from the turn-based combat. You also get a very deep job system, which is very satisfying to tinker with. That said, all of this is by no means a revolution. As we saw on Dig, there isn’t much room for anyone to be surprised as they move from the first game to the second. On the other hand, this means that those who enjoyed what the first game had to offer can safely jump into this one.
One of the biggest differences in this game is its theme of sailing the high seas and fighting Dieselbots instead of launching rockets into space. part of the fun Steam World The series has seen how the setting is fleshed out with each episode, and you definitely get some of that here. The humor and writing are as good as ever, giving this ‘bot a lot of charm whether it’s on your team or an enemy you’ll blow up and never see again. hat? Yes, you can still shoot and collect hats. The side-view turn-based tactical RPG gameplay remains engaging, with the desire to find the perfect shot at every turn.
Steam World Heist II It’s not as novel as the first game, and retains some of the ways it worked before. It can be a bit difficult at times and you always have to be careful with gimmicks because some battles like them. The class system is a treat for those who enjoy searching for broken combos, and overworld exploration helps break down the action while also better establishing the setting. If you enjoyed it Steam World Heist Ready for more gameplay and more fun times. Steam World Knowledge, this will give you what you are looking for.

That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime Isekai Chronicles ($49.99)
I’m really not sure what to do with this. It’s a bit familiar to me At that time I was reincarnated as a slimeAt least in cartoon form. I got a little bored so I left after a while, but I stayed long enough to get to know the premise and most of the main actors. So you’re familiar with it, but maybe not a fan. I don’t hate it. One thing I can say about this game without a doubt is that it doesn’t run as well on the Switch as I would like. Frame rate antics are happening at times, and given how relatively simple this game looks, it’s something that really shouldn’t be happening.
great. Let me explain what’s here. The game retells the story from the beginning of the series up to the battle against Falmuth, but the pace picks up in the early parts. Several new game-related stories have been added, and fortunately they come from the original creators. Gameplay is divided into three styles: There are visual novel style scenes and sometimes some animation mixed in. Then there’s the side-scrolling action. Here you get some basic combos and dodge/counter mechanics. Nothing fancy, but fun enough. Lastly, a very basic city builder. Eventually you will need to build the Jura Tempest Federation. It basically gives you an excuse to grind the ingredients.
And that thirst is the key. The gameplay mechanics are too thin to pack things in here and the combat feels rushed and repetitive. Nonetheless, you will have to participate in many of them. You’ll have to complete sub-quests which add a bit of fun, but very early on you’ll be stuck in a loop that doesn’t change much. Stories are what keeps you going, but if you’re familiar with this property, you probably already know most of it. Because the gameplay is limited, you never feel like you’re playing this story. If you’re not a fan of the series, this is one way to catch up to a certain point. I think this might be the worst way for a beginner to digest this story. Well, this is a common problem of this kind. Overall, I think fans will like it. Perhaps that will be enough.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Chronicles of Another World This is probably a favorite among those who like this place. But even they would consider it a rather meager meal. The two new stories are interesting, and it’s fun to see these characters in action and build alliances for a while. Unfortunately, the gameplay itself doesn’t expand as much as it needs to, so you’ll quickly get bored if you’re not in the mood to keep repeating yourself.

Rack and Slay ($5.99)
Roguelite dungeon crawler? boring! Wait… wait a minute! Is that hero… a billiard ball?! Well, that’s a horse of a completely different color! Yes, this is a game where you have to launch your ball hero at the ball enemies and push them into the ball bag. There are a lot of items to find and a surprising number of modes to enjoy. It’s a cute idea that actually works pretty well.

That outbox is very small. great Super Lucky’s Tale Although there are still a lot of them, the existence of indie 3D platformers isn’t as novel as it used to be. As for new sales, nothing on the list makes much sense to me. That’s not to say there aren’t good games out there. Ginug He’s a good shooter. super hot It’s really fun, door kicker It has charm. But all of these go on sale frequently, so it’s hard to get much excitement. Check your list and do what you need to do.
