Starfield’s Shattered Space expansion DLC will be released this fall, according to Bethesda’s Todd Howard, who revealed this news during a Kinda Funny Gamecast interview on April 30, 2024.
Howard, interviewed by the multi-talented Greg Miller on the Kinda Funny Gamecast, said Starfield’s first DLC will be released in the fall, specifically in late 2024. While this new expansion is underway, Todd Howard hasn’t revealed anything revolutionary. This explains the Shattered Space DLC. However, it is expected to be released this fall.
Beyond that, Howard has been tight-lipped about the more surprising things going on in Shattered Space, but things seem to be moving in the right direction. The director also revealed that the company is working on several much-needed updates to come, centered around new display modes, gameplay options, ship building elements, and city maps. Additionally, Howard said the team is working on additional Starfield’s Creation Kit to allow players to modify the game. More news on this update is expected to be released next week at the time of writing.
