Several members of the Liverpool squad have been spotted watching a baseball game in Philadelphia during their pre-season fun in the United States.
The Reds are in the United States training and playing matches, with one friendlies complete and two more to go, but the preseason is also an opportunity for the squad to bond.
For the second stop on their three-city tour, Arne Slot’s men headed to Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies, to watch the Phillies take on the New York Yankees.
‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ was played over the PA as the Liverpool squad prepared to watch the match on a large screen.

Mohamed Salah, Harvey Elliott, Ben Doak and Wataru Endo also appeared on the big screen, with the entire squad likely in attendance.
Tsimikas recorded the scene on his phone as Kelleher waved at the camera, with the message “Phillies welcome Liverpool Football Club” displayed underneath.

The Yankees have a historic rivalry with the Boston Red Sox, who are owned by Fenway Sports Group, with the two teams’ rivalry dating back to 1919.
The Red Sox sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees and went 86 years without winning a World Series, while the New York team won 27, earning it the nickname “The Curse of the Bambino.”
FSG acquired the Red Sox in 2002, and the Red Sox won the World Series again in 2004 and three more in 2007, 2013, and 2018, while the Yankees have won just once since FSG took over.
Liverpool’s final games of their 2019 US tour took place at Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox, and Yankee Stadium, home of the Yankees.
