Biles, 27, smiled as she held a custom menu item that read “Olympic F*cking Champion” at Maple & Ash restaurant in Chicago in a boomerang clip she shared to her Instagram Story on Saturday, Aug. 17. Owens, 29, was seen with the U.S. gymnast, making a peace sign for the camera.
Biles also uploaded a close-up shot of the menu, replacing some of the profanity with symbols. In another clip, Biles and the Chicago Bears players raised their glasses as they toasted with the group.
The festive dinner came just days after Biles spent a night in Paris to decompress a bit. “Feeling a little under the weather this morning,” Biles wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday, Aug. 12, along with footage of the party, which featured a cheering crowd and American flag waving.
In another clip, Queen’s “We Are the Champions” played in the background as one attendee popped confetti and another held a sign that read “Gym Legend Simone Biles.”
“If you see me at the club, please tell me to go home. For my health and my own sake in the morning,” Biles wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a black-and-white video of herself and her sister. AdriaThe sister duo sang along to Waka Flocka Flame’s 2010 track “Grove St. Party.”
Biles had a lot to celebrate. After the Paris Olympics, where she won three golds and a silver, she became the most decorated gymnast in American history. (Biles won the women’s artistic individual all-around, women’s vault, and team all-around.) Owens was by his wife’s side during the Paris Olympics and praised her skills.
“I try to remember her routine. It could be a random moment, and she’s lying on the floor doing something, and then she does it,” Owens said in the HBO clip. hard knock “I’m out there and I want to know the beat so I know what’s going on,” she shared via Instagram earlier this month.
Owens gushed that he’s “spoiled” after watching Biles do her routine “so many times.” He added, “I just sit and watch, especially when she’s on beam. Oh my gosh! Beam really knocks me down. I was trying to be on beam, and I was like, ‘Baby, you don’t flip, just land.’ But the blind landings and all that kind of stuff? I’m just watching (holding my breath).”
