Biles dominated. 2024 Paris Olympics Over the summer, she won three gold medals and one silver, making her the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history.
But fans hoping to see her compete may be disappointed to learn that Biles isn’t ready to compete, as the 2028 Olympics in the United States could be her last.

“If you go back, you’ll be greedy. That’s the outcome. But it’s also a decision you make,” she said in an interview. “What sacrifices would I make if I went back now? When I was younger it was like prom and college. Now it’s like starting a family and being away from my husband. What is really worth it?”

biles is married chicago bears Safety Jonathan Owens. The couple tied the knot in April 2023 and have since been spotted supporting each other at their own events.
Owens signed a two-year contract with the Bears in March 2024 after spending one season with the Green Bay Packers. He was pulled out of the start of training camp this summer to support his wife as she makes history at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As she enters the next chapter of her life, Biles told Sports Illustrated that returning to the Olympic stage in 2028 will not be easy.
“I’ve accomplished so much, there’s so little left to do than just arrogantly try to do something again. I’m at a point in my career where I’m humble enough to know when to do it.”
