Saurashtra’s Sheldon Jackson announced his retirement from white-ball cricket on Tuesday.
Jackson ended his List A career with 2792 runs in 84 innings at an average of 36.25. The wicketkeeper batsman has scored 9 hundreds and 14 fifties in the 50-over format.
The 38-year-old has also scored 1812 runs in 80 T20s, including nine matches for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.
Jackson’s last white-ball match was in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Saurashtra and Punjab, where he hit 13 off 10 balls.
In 2022, Jackson scored an unbeaten 133 off 136 balls to power Saurashtra to victory in the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Maharashtra.
