Security tightens ahead of Chicago Democratic National Convention

As the Democratic National Convention begins Monday in Chicago, federal and local agencies are beefing up security following warnings of potential violence following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump last month. With tens of thousands expected to attend, and likely protesters, authorities are focusing on ensuring the safety of both the public and political leaders.
