The United Nations Security Council is scheduled to hold an emergency meeting in New York at 10 a.m. on the collapse of health services in Gaza. The meeting was convened by Algeria, the Arab world’s leading representative on the board, which took over the chairmanship in January. A senior official from the World Health Organization (WHO) briefed the ambassadors along with High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk. App users can follow along here.
