In the second T20I between India and Bangladesh, India put in a dominant performance in Delhi and ended the series with an 86-run win. While India’s all-round dominance was evident, a humorous moment between Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag during the Bangladesh innings caught everyone’s attention. Samson’s words of encouragement to Parag in Bengali seemed to spark a breakthrough that led to Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s dismissal.
Samson’s Bengali boosts with Parag
Wicketkeeper Sanju Samson, known for his calm and composed demeanor, surprised viewers by encouraging his teammate Ryan Parag in Bengal.
After Mahmudullah took a single off Parag’s fifth ball in the 11th over, Samson was heard saying “Khub bhalo!” This means “very good.”
Commentator Sunil Gavaskar emphasized this point on air, adding a humorous touch by saying that Samson was showing off his Bengali skills.
Luckily, in the very next ball, Parag dismissed Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
Miraz, who tried to charge up the pitch before Parag could release the ball, ended up hitting a wide delivery straight to Ravi Bishnoi.
Farag roared in celebration as Samson’s timely words seemed to work wonders.

India’s unstoppable series win
India’s win in this match marked their 16th consecutive win in the T20I series at home.
The all-round effort was led by Nitish Kumar Reddy, who played a versatile role.
Reddy’s explosive 74 off 34 balls and Rinku Singh’s 53 off 29 balls helped India post a whopping total of 221/9.
In response, Bangladesh crumbled under pressure and lost wickets regularly.
Remarkably, all seven Indian bowlers took a wicket each, highlighting the team’s bowling depth.
India’s relentless approach, combined with moments of camaraderie like the interaction between Samson and Parag, made for a memorable match and ensured a comprehensive series win for the hosts.
