Roma are tracking Torino full-back Raul Bellanova as their main target to replace Rick Kasdorf.
With Karsdorp gone soon, Bellanova remains Daniele De Rossi’s preferred replacement.
Reports earlier this week suggested that the Giallorossi had already reached a general agreement with those close to Bellanova.
But Torino’s price tag for the 24-year-old has made any negotiations impossible so far, with Roma unable to offer the 22-23 million euros demanded by the Granata.
I think things may change soon I have read.
According to an Italian newspaper, Roma are also working on the sale of Andrea Belotti and Edoardo Bovet.
The pair appear to be the first players on Roma’s transfer list as they are the players with the most concrete offers on the table.
Roma could use the funds from Belotti and Bovet to head towards a permanent deal for Bellanova.
