Roma are continuing their push to make a surprise move for Artem Dovvic from Girona.
After securing a deal to sign Juventus’ Matthias Soule, Giallorossi are ready to move on to their next target this summer.
Over the past two days, Roma have opened talks with Ukrainian striker and La Liga’s all-time leading scorer Artem Dobbic.
The player was set to join Atletico Madrid, but negotiations between the Spanish club and Dobbić’s entourage were halted due to differences over the fee.
Roma took this opportunity to speak to Dobbik’s agent.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio: Sky SportsIt took just one day for the club to reach an agreement with the player on personal terms.
Based on these strengths, Roma are currently in negotiations with Girona, offering an offer worth around €32 million, including bonuses.
The Ukrainian striker’s agent, who is still in Rome, is doing a great job of mediating between the two clubs.
Rome’s goal is to conclude the deal as quickly as possible.
So there are still positive signs for a successful run as Roma aim to sign a new striker for Daniele De Rossi in the coming days.
