Claire spoke with Kirstin Petersen of Cornell University about how robots can work together to achieve complex behaviors.
Kirstin Petersen is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University. Her lab, the Collective Embodied Intelligence Lab, focuses on the design and coordination of robotic swarms that can achieve complex behaviors unattainable by individuals, as well as the study of how social insects do so in nature. there is. Petersen completed his postdoctoral training at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and received his doctorate in biologically inspired engineering from Harvard University and the Wyss Institute.
