Den of Wolves, the upcoming sci-fi heist game from 10 Chambers, has broken the cover and made a surprise appearance at The Game Awards 2024. During the show we saw a new gameplay trailer and a tentative 2025 Early Access release date. . So at least we don’t have to wait until 2030 (although there are always delays…).
In the trailer, we see some high-intensity action, a new hard-hitting track to go along with it, and what appears to be a brain dive where the laws of physics go right out the window. All together, this is a real sci-fi spin on the heist genre, and I assume that’s what the team is going for.

For those of you who don’t know, 10 Chambers is the studio behind GTFO, an awesome co-op horror shooter that has built a loyal and vocal community. This team, made up of former Payday crew members, seems to be going back to their Den of Wolves roots a bit, as they leverage what they know while also recruiting a ton of new talent.
This is an interesting prospect, especially given that a significant portion of the broader Payday fan base was unimpressed with Payday 3.
There’s no release date yet, and there’s no vague release window, but the game remains a beacon of hope for FPS heist fans looking to dive into something new. More information will be available in the near future.
