Immanuel Quickley has been hurt again.
The Toronto Raptors announced Tuesday that their starting point guard has suffered a partial ligament tear in his left elbow.
Quickley’s ulnar collateral ligament is scheduled to be re-evaluated in a week.
He suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Toronto’s 123-103 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers last Sunday.

Quickley has already missed eight games this season with a right pelvic contusion after suffering a major injury to his tailbone in the home opener on Oct. 23.

He’s averaging 15.3 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds in three games this season, but left two of them early due to injury.
Quickley was traded from the New York Knicks to Toronto on December 30 along with swingman RJ Barrett from Mississauga, Ontario.
He re-signed a five-year, $175 million contract on July 8 to remain with the Raptors.
The Raptors (2-9) announced Quickley’s injury just hours before they face the Bucks in Milwaukee on Tuesday night.
