(CelebrityAccess) — Jody Frisch, a prominent public relations executive with a career spanning the entertainment industry and Washington, D.C., died on August 21. She was 68.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Frisch passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
A native of Los Angeles, Frisch began her career in public relations after graduating from high school, working for the Writers Guild of America, SAG-AFTRA, BGR Group, and the National Foreign Trade Association.
In the 1990s, she served as vice president of Craig Anderson Productions, a production company focused on television films, but in 2002 she moved to Washington, D.C. to work in public relations and legislative affairs for Planned Parenthood.
According to Deadline, details about a memorial service celebrating Frisch’s life will be announced in the coming months.
