Our Béarnais were in Bigorre!
In the first summer outing, the section lost to UBB (26-42) at the Maurice-Trélut stadium in Tarbes. 30 players, including many youngsters from the training center, challenged the TOP 14 finalists with 23-24.
Lucas Rey gave his team two tries on the ball carried at the start of the game and Béarnais started the game perfectly (13′ 12-0), but Bordelais came back thanks to a double from Bielle-Biarrey (18′ 12-14). That was also the score at half-time. UBB went ahead in the second period and increased the gap with four attempts. Béarnais did not give up and the Pau teenagers responded with Brau-Boirie (62′) and just before the Souverbie (siren) (79′ 26-42).
With this dedicated and open section, you will be able to discover our new recruits in the green and white jersey and appreciate the great conquest of the section, which involves a tremendous attacking drive, despite some approximations. Head to La Rochelle next Friday for the second and final preparatory match!
