Local police from Hradec Králové responded to a local store, where an elderly woman had taken food worth 391 crowns (about 15.50 euros). This was her first crime. And her basket contained only basic groceries. After assessing the situation, the police imposed the lowest possible fine on her, but the story did not end there.
She supports three other people
The senior explained that he had no other choice. He has to support three other people on his small pension. The money will come to her within 14 days. During the meeting, the woman repeatedly apologized and it was clear she was very embarrassed about her situation.
