Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk plans to hold a meeting with EU, UK and NATO leaders to discuss the situation in Ukraine following Donald Trump’s US presidential election victory.
Tusk will host talks in Warsaw with French President Emmanuel Macron and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, while meetings with British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer will be held in Warsaw or London, Reuters reported. A meeting with Nordic and Baltic leaders in Stockholm is also on the agenda.
The Polish prime minister said the new political landscape following Trump’s re-election in the United States was a “serious challenge for everyone.” This is especially true if the Russian and U.S. presidents reach an agreement on Ukraine without Kiev’s involvement.
