Mitch Marsh is playing in the Big Bash League for the first time in almost three years, with the Aussie T20 captain leading the Scorchers to a crucial clash with the Renegades.

But sadly for the big crowd in Perth, Marsh lasted just one ball with his horror form rolling into the BBL with the bat.
Marsh, who had just been dropped from the Australian Test side, strode to the crease to thunderous applause.
But the crowd fell silent seconds later as the West Aussie set off for a golden duck when he was caught cold LBW.
“Can you believe it? First ball!” said Brendan Julian of Fox Cricket.
“This is absolutely dead,” Brett Lee added.
“I hit the middle peg and went halfway up.”
“Will Sutherland’s incredible delivery silenced the crowd at Optus Stadium.” Julian added.
“They’re freaking out down here,” Mike Hussey said.
“The roar when he came out… they’re really quiet now.”
Ashton Agar’s second BBL half-century rescued the Scorchers, who were 8-147. It’s under par, but impressive considering it’s 3-30 and 4-46.
But they held the Renegades at 4-10.
It was a big loss for the Scorchers, but also a big one for the Renegades as Josh Brown (wrist) withdrew late due to injury.
Both teams are out of the finals with four games remaining, with Perth facing a tough two-game road trip against a high-flying Sydney side and Melbourne, who are 2-4 behind and neither can afford to lose.
